Uproar in Albuquerque

We were in town yesterday but we missed this because we were attending other events and didn't take Central or I-25 on our way out of town. So we didn't find out what was going on until we saw the news on teevee.

Turns out the protesters are determined to keep it up -- apparently indefinitely.Word has it they were to start up again around ten this morning -- a few minutes ago -- and continue until who knows when.

The issue of course is simple. Police in general, and APD in particular, have been given license to commit mayhem and murder, and, not surprisingly they do. The killing of James Boyd up in the foothills of the Sandias the other week was the last straw. People are not inclined to take it any more.

So.

There is an uproar in Albuquerque.

It cannot be unexpected.
